The Nike brand has had the slogan “Just Do It” for decades, inspiring athletes around the world. When considering exercise or other ambitions, “The road to ruin is paved with good Intentions.” The same is true in marriage. We have good intentions, but we rarely act on them: “We should make time for regular date nights,” or, “I should complement my spouse more.”
When it comes to making time for an enrichment or a marriage boot camp or something to take our relationship to a better level, ha! Maybe today is the time to take up the Nike slogan and “Just Do It.” Read a book together, go to a retreat.
